New Google Video Interface

Google Videos has changed their user interface yet again. See it live at http://video.google.com. I somewhat like the new change, but the video store needs to be reorganized. The main addition is the RSS feeds for the Popular Videos, Video Store, and Random Videos. Great Work Google!

Movie Previews

A cool new feature has been added to Google Videos. Now you can see movie previews for just about any movie that is currently showing, or is going to be released in the next few months. Another great addition to Google Videos. You can access all of these movie previews here. I looked at the Da Vinci Code trailer, and the quality is superb. Check these trailers out today!

2006 Champions League Final

Google has added a new paid video, that highlights the 2006 Champions League Final between FC Barcelona and Arsenal. This video shows the great saves, goals, and shots of the game, and there are plenty of soccer fans out there who would buy this video. Definetly a reccomended purchase, especially if you're a European soccer fan like I am.

Funny MasterCard Commercial

Before you watch this video, be warned that it contains some sexual references. But its a really funny MasterCard commercial, and because of what happens in it, it was banned, and it never actually was aired. But it is a really funny commercial, you will be laughing like crazy.

Bush and Blair

I'm a total Democrat, so when it comes to making fun of George Bush, I just can't wait. This video took some good editing software, a song, and a little creativeness and came out as the funniest Bush-Blair parody I have seen in these past few weeks.

Horror Films are not so Horrible

You've watched plenty of horror films, right? Then you must know that is typical to have a stalker cut the phone lines, shut off the lights, and in the night, after talking with the girl on the phone, he comes into the house. The girl hides in fear....or does she?

New Google Video Changes

The main change is the ability to upload video files less than 100 mb through the internet browser instead of a software uploader, as you can see here. This form allows you to enter a few details, such as the title and description and category, and then click submit, and it will upload. This is great for users who don't want to download the uploader and store the videos with their account, and like the convenience of browser uploading. However, the biggest advantage to this is the ability to instantly have your videos on Google Videos. There is no longer a wait period, and all videos that you submit are instantaneously posted on Google Videos. Also, a promotion uploading program for "Break-Up" videos has been announced. In this promotion, a user may upload break-up videos that tell the story of a boyfriend and girlfriend who break-up, like the upcoming movie Break-Up. Univseral Studios has affiliated with Google and has several trailers uploaded in high quality. It seems like a pretty funny movie (Romantic Comedy), telling the story of a guy and girl who get together but after they move in the guy's addiction to video games causes a disruption in their relationship. You can see the trailers and other break-up clips here. Another change is the addition of a 9-11 clip that was just released by the government, and the clip shows and proves that a plane actually hit the Pentagon, contrary to the belief promoted by the recent Loose Change and Reopen 911 videos. But I still doubt its authenticity, considering that the quality of the video is extremely bad and it is hard to discern the plane. If I was an ultra-conspiracy theorist I would even say that its possible the government edited the video and added a plane, because the lack of detail would facilitate this effort. Believe it or not, shown below is the Pentagon's proof of the plane crash and the counter-evidence by Reopen911.org.

Loose Change 911 Conspiracy

This is probably my favorite Google Video ever. It is an hour long documentary about 9-11, and it suggests a conspiracy-the government has something to do with 9-11, not the terrorists. They present some amazing evidence and the screenplay and video sequence is great, and it's a well-spent hour, I can assure you that. Download the video for the best quality, because in order to see some of the details in the videos and pictures that they show, you would need to have higher quality than the browser player can yield. And since this video is an hour long, and you should download it, I will only link to the video, not embed it into this entry. Watch it here!

Edit: It has come to my attention that this link does not work anymore. Sadly, the first edition, which I believe is the best edition, no longer exists on Google Video. Therefore, this link points towards the 2nd Edition of Loose Change, which offers the same idea as the first. I will continually search for the first edition, and hopefully I will get a link soon.
